Retrofitting Residential Homes in America

Yesterday the US House of Representatives passed the Home Star Energy Retrofit Act of 2010 (H.R. 5019), which authorizes creation of a national energy retrofit program for American homeowners. The bill now move to the Senate. I'm wondering if those on the Right side of the floor will have to courage to pass this important piece of legislation that will help homeowners retrofit their homes to make them more energy efficient at the same time as reducing greenhouse gas emission that emanate from their homes. Passage of this bill helps businesses grow and create jobs.
